ULL participated at the “VII Conference International Migrations in Spain. Human Mobility and Social Diversity” which was held in Bilbao, Spain in 11-13/April. “Puzzled by Policy” was presented to an audience made up of representatives of public administration, politics and different forms of organized civil society (NGOs and associations of migrants, mainly).
The aim of the conference was to provide a space for an interdisciplinary meeting, the sharing of approaches and perspectives, dialogue and debate between different stakeholders that address, in one way or another, knowledge, interpretation and management of contemporary international migration process. The conference also allowed the encounter between the different sectors that address the migration phenomenon in all its dimensions: academic, political and social. In this scenario, the project Puzzled by Policy was presented by ULL (Universidad de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain) as a new tool to foster the knowledge about immigration from a European and national perspective, and as a technological tool where the different participants can provide their contributions by means of different discussions and posts through the u-debate tool.
